Located on the east side of Done Daeng island, Ban Peuayalo is a small village with 218 inhabitants. The existing school was built in 2001, with 4 class rooms made out from bamboo wood.
The school urgently needed one more class room (part of the pupils had to study in the village’s temple), two toilets (boys/girls), as well as a water pump and electricity.
The project started in 2015 with the help of villagers for the labor, an was completed in June 2016 with donations from the guests and the Lodge summing up to approximately USD 5,000.
