Your arrival
La Folie Lodge sits on an island in the Mekong, across from Champasak. The final part of the journey is a boat crossing. Share your itinerary with us and our team will help coordinate your arrival.
The final part of the journey
Boat transfers from the embarkation points serving the lodge are complimentary for our guests. Our boats, identified by their red and green flags, bring you to La Folie on Don Daeng Island.
Crossings take place during daylight and are coordinated with our team. Wind and river conditions may affect timing. Please contact us if your journey is delayed.
The embarkation point is behind the Champasak Tourist Center. Confirm your arrival with our team before making your way there.
An alternative embarkation point is on the riverbank at Ban Muang village. Our team will advise whether this departure point suits your route.
The hotel location and boat meeting points are separate. To reach the island, use the meeting point confirmed by our team.
Please tell us your expected arrival time so we can organise the crossing. If you are making your own way, call us at least 30 minutes before reaching the embarkation point.
Contact us before booking your onward transport. Boats operate during daylight, and we can help you plan a journey that allows for the crossing. If you are delayed while travelling, please call our team.
Road transfers are separate from the complimentary boat crossing for lodge guests. Tell us your departure point and party size for a quotation. Some offers already include transfers; please check the inclusions in your booking.
