La Folie Lodge is located on an island. We do provide a boat transfer in and out from the lodge, using our private and secured boats, free of charge, from two embankment points:

• Champasak Town: Our boat lands behind the Champasak Tourist Center, in Champasak town (Once in Champasak, please follow the hotel signs) (https://goo.gl/maps/zUPDymqDv7m)
• Ban Muang Pier: Our boat lands on the bank of Ban Muang village (from route N°13, turn in Lak 30kms on road 140 and follow the direction to Ban Muang Pier) (https://goo.gl/maps/dZAonpv8W2N2)

Our boats with red and green flags will take you directly to the Lodge, on Don Daeng island.

We suggest you to give us your expected arrival time to one of the boat landing, or to contact us (+856 20 55 532 004) at least 30 minutes before your arrival, to make sure a boat is dispatched to pick you up from there.

Paksé International Airport

Paksé International Airport is the nearest to the lodge, approximately 28 kms and a 30 minutes drive.

We offer airport transfer using our private van for 45$, but we require guests to book in advance. Otherwise there is a taxi service in the airport.

Paksé International Airport offers daily to weekly flights to:

Domestic: Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Savannakhet

International: Siem Reap (Cambodia), Hochiminh (Vietnam), Bangkok (Thailand)

Ubon Rachathani Airport (Thailand)

Ubon Rachathani Airport is about 160 kms from the lodge, and a 2h30 drive (including passage of the immigration).

We can arrange airport transfer using a minivan for the price of 160$ per trip, but we require guests to book in advance.

Ubon Rachathani Airport offers daily flights to Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

They are five different bus stations in Paksé, with a wide coverage of local and international destinations, including Vientiane, Bangkok and Ubon Ratchatani (Thailand), Siem Reap and Phnom Phen (Cambodia).

We offer transfer from the bus stations using our private van for 40$, but we require guests to book in advance.
